Dry chili Mulato

The Mulato pepper (Capsicum annuum) is a mild to medium hot pepper with an unbelievable aroma and flavor, which is often described as chocolate with a hint of cherry and tobacco. It’s closely related to the Poblano (Ancho) pepper and is generally sold dried. The Mexican Mulato pepper is known for its role in their sauces and traditional stews. It ripens from dark green, to red, to dark brown. It grows to be 10cm long and 5cm wide.
